Tasting Notes
Ripe apricot jam, orange blossom, baking spice, and fresh pastry aromas co-mingle together on the nose. The orange flavor is followed by notes of stone fruit coupled with tropical fruit continuing onto the palate, which is rich and creamy on the mid palate. The finish is a long vanilla bean flavor that carefully coats the fruit flavors. This wine will continue to evolve in opulence as it ages in the bottle.
Vineyard Notes
The Sierra Foothills contain deep granite soil developing grapes for intense wines. The Fair Play AVA has been growing grapes since the California Gold Rush, yet it is still a relatively unknown, untapped goldmine of high-quality fruit.
