This Rosé is made from Carey's block of our estate Zinfandel which is on the west side of Flat Creek Vineyards as it heads towards E-16 . This block is named for our winemaker, Carey. This is Carey's favorite block on the property as it contains two of his other favorite varietals, Grenache and Mourvèdre in addition to Zinfandel, his go-to varietal where he first began to really hone his craft of winemaking. This Rosé is made in the Saignée style which means “to bleed" in French producing a vibrant color of Rosé. This style of Rosé is made by leaving the grapes on the skins longer before pressing to achieve this gorgeous color.
